Chassis ST 438 BC is a 1953 Siata 300 BC barchetta, the 38th of just 40 coachbuilt examples produced by Bertone to a Mario Revelli de Beaumont design. Originally fitted with the 1,089 cc Fiat four-cylinder engine it still carries, the car was imported to New York and sold to a Pennsylvania-based owner in 1956, who raced it in hillclimbs and ice races through the late 1950s. It has never been fully restored and was road-registered only in 1989, surviving in largely original condition after more than six decades under single ownership.
