Chassis HK2B146 is one of 183 customer Facel II grand tourers built between 1961 and 1964, a model celebrated for its Franco-American character. Originally finished in Silver Grey over Rouge leather with a Chrysler TorqueFlite automatic, it was delivered new through Auto Becker in Düsseldorf. After early German and Iranian ownership — during which it was stored in a museum — a German Facel Vega enthusiast commissioned a five-year body-off restoration by Diemer & Dalheimer that brought the car to concours standard, including a rosette at the 2021 Zoute Concours d'Elegance.
