Chassis 4189 GT is the 37th third-series Ferrari 250 GTE produced and the 688th of the entire 954-unit run. Completed on 1 February 1963 and delivered in March of that year, this 2+2 grand tourer passed through two Italian owners before a Danish naval captain based in Rome acquired it. It subsequently entered museum custody — first exhibited at the Danish Technical Museum, then held by the Aalholm Automobil Museum in Nysted from 1995 to 2012. After its auction sale that year, the car underwent a five-year, approximately €290,000 restoration by Autofficina Carlo Bonini in Reggio Emilia and has since received Ferrari Classiche certification.
