Maintenance & restoration

  1. 1973
    Maintenance

Factory delivery equipped with Koni shock absorbers, Recaro sport seats, green-tinted glass, and a five-speed manual transaxle as original specification.

US-market specification at time of first registration.

    CPR Classic

Full concours-grade rotisserie restoration begun from a stripped shell, culminating two years later in complete reassembly with a wholly rebuilt powertrain, refreshed suspension, brakes, and fuel system using OEM components where applicable, and a retrimmed interior returned to original specification. Several tasteful additions were also fitted: a Becker Europa II radio, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and staggered 15-inch polished Fuchs alloy wheels.

Restoration concluded in 2015; photographic records and parts inventories are on file documenting the full process. Workshop is located in Fallbrook, California.

  3. Service

Approximately $5,000 of routine maintenance carried out, along with a comprehensive overhaul of the ignition system.

Performed during the current ownership period following the 2013–2015 restoration.

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
