Chassis GL 640068 is among the earliest Iso Grifo examples built, completed in July 1966 and delivered new to the United States. Its first owner was Bobby Hatfield of The Righteous Brothers, who commissioned renowned customiser George Barris to refinish the exterior — reportedly in metallic gold. The car subsequently passed through several California owners before a British enthusiast undertook a mechanical overhaul and bare-metal respray around 2005, presenting it in its current maroon livery with beige leather interior.
