Comprehensive ground-up custom build carried out from bare metal: a late-356 sunroof clip was welded in, a louvered rear exhaust apron and louvered engine cover were fabricated, body surfaces were cleaned up, all windows replaced with Plexiglas except the windshield, an oversized centre-fill fuel tank installed in the front trunk with a modified hood, and the finished body painted in Auratium. Interior trimmed in fawn leather with tan cord inserts and widened Speedster-style bucket seats; Speedster-style dashboard fitted with restored instruments and a Nardi steering wheel. Genuine GT alloy doors incorporated. Car lowered and fitted with 15-inch Minilite alloy wheels.
The consignor waited approximately one year before the Schlabaugh Brothers could begin; the build itself took a further two years. Interior leather and trim supplied by Autos International.
