It subsequently moved to France and then Italy, where the current owner commissioned a comprehensive restoration to European specification costing over €80,000, carried out in 2016 by Ferrari-authorised workshop Rosso Monza near Milan and culminating in Ferrari Classiche certification confirming the original matching engine.
