Chassis 4424011 is a 1965-model-year Citroën DS 19 Cabriolet bodied by Henri Chapron, one of roughly 120 DS 19 cabriolets produced for that model year and among an even smaller subset fitted with a four-speed manual gearbox. Delivered to Chapron's Levallois-Perret works on 8 September 1964 and returned to Citroën on 12 October 1964, it was originally finished in Corrida Red. Between 2013 and approximately 2016, Geneva-based Citroën specialist Vincent Crescia carried out a comprehensive concours-level restoration, refinishing the car in Bleu Antarctique with a blue leather interior.

Maintenance & restoration
- 2013RestorationVincent Crescia
A full three-year concours-level restoration was undertaken, beginning with complete disassembly to establish a straight bodyshell, followed by meticulous reassembly. The exterior was refinished in Bleu Antarctique, the interior retrimmed in blue leather, and particular care was given to bringing all mechanical components to the highest standard.
Crescia is a Geneva-based specialist renowned for concours restorations of Chapron-bodied Citroëns; photographic documentation of the restoration process is on file.
