- Engine
- 2.0L air-cooled flat-six, 906-specification type 901/25

Chassis 9140430705 is a 1970 Porsche 914/6 R, one of twelve factory-built 914/6 racecars and believed to be the first production example of what became the 914/6 GT. Delivered directly to Porsche's experimental department, it served as a test and practice machine for the 1970 Targa Florio with Vic Elford at the wheel. It subsequently passed to Brumos Racing in Florida, likely competing at the 1971 Bridgehampton 3 Hours, before moving through several American owners and entering long-term storage. Rediscovered in California around 2010 and fully restored, it made its historic-racing return at Rennsport Reunion 7 in 2023.

A 906-specification 901/25 2.0-litre flat-six engine and a 914/6 transaxle were fitted to complete the recommissioning.
Restoration begun by Kerry Morse and completed under the current owner's direction; interior fittings including Scheel seats and lightweight door cards preserved as found.
