1954 Lancia Appia Series 1

A Series 1 Lancia Appia C10 four-door saloon, originally delivered to Piero Taruffi — the celebrated Italian racing driver who won the 1957 Mille Miglia and held speed records on two and four wheels. First registered in Ravenna, the car later passed to the Scianna family of Padua, in whose hands it contested several notable historic events including the Targa Florio, Vernasca Silver Flag, and Mille Miglia. Now fitted with a Fiat twin-cam engine in place of its original unit.
