The 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America, chassis B24S-1156, is a left-hand-drive example of the rare 181-unit production run, bodied by Pinin Farina and powered by its original matching-numbers 2,451cc V6. Delivered new to the United States, the car was later repatriated to Italy, where it underwent a full restoration by the renowned Milan specialist KCA Restorations. Subsequently campaigned in numerous prestigious historic rallies across Europe and North America, the car retains its original coachwork, period Nardi dual-carburetor kit, and Borrani wire wheels, and is registered with the Registro Aurelia Italiano.

Maintenance & restoration

Comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration carried out covering the full car, including a repaint in period-correct Verde Ascot Metallic green and a new Biscuit-coloured leather interior. Work was done at the direction of then-owner Silvana Cima.
KCA Restorations, based in Milan, was described as a leading Lancia specialist at the time. The car had previously been grey; the correct factory colour was reinstated during this work.
- 2010Engine rebuild
Full engine-out mechanical overhaul encompassing the engine, transaxle, and associated components, along with fitting of a replacement fuel tank. Approximately 500 hours of labour were involved in the reconditioning process.
Undertaken by the current Texas-based owner shortly after acquiring the car in 2010, roughly twenty years after the prior KCA restoration.

Complete bare-metal repaint carried out during 2017–2018 in the period-correct Verde Ascot Metallic colour, accompanied by a new leather interior, a new convertible hood, and refinishing of all chrome trim.
