Maintenance & restoration
- —Restoration
A frame-off restoration was completed recently, refinishing the car in Opalescent Silver Grey and fitting a new red leather interior. The matching-numbers engine block was retained, though a later unstamped replacement cylinder head and cam covers were fitted; the exhaust manifold received a chrome-style finish rather than the correct black porcelain coating.
Apart from the noted head, cam covers, and exhaust manifold finish, the car was restored to original specification and the factory panel fit was preserved.
