1962 Ogle SX1000

The Ogle SX1000 was a luxury-oriented, fibreglass-bodied Mini-based GT produced by Ogle Designs in limited numbers, with only 68 examples completed before production ended following the death of founder David Ogle. Chassis #MO/62/037, fitted with a 998cc Cooper engine, was prepared for a promotional tour of the United States in 1963, after which it competed in American club racing and SCCA events before passing through several owners in Florida and Ohio. Repatriated to the UK, the car underwent a full restoration to period racing specification and has since been campaigned at British circuits.
