Chassis 80341 is an early 1955 Porsche 356 A 1500 Speedster, the 341st example built, completed on 3 March 1955 and originally supplied to the U.S. market through importer Max Hoffman's New York operation. It retains its matching engine and gearbox, confirmed by the factory Kardex and a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate. Finished in the uncommon Speedster Blue — applied to roughly 180 cars in total production — over an Acella Bast basket-weave interior, it has received a comprehensive concours-level body-off restoration and has covered fewer than 62 miles since completion.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
