Chassis B5/551/U is a 1935 Aston Martin Ulster, one of only 31 produced and among the ten Works Team Cars built at the Feltham factory. Completed on 5 February 1935 and used as the factory demonstrator, it carries coachwork by Enrico Bertelli in the doorless two-seat Ulster style. The car passed ultimately to David L. Van Schaick, long-serving president of the American Aston Martin Owners Club and a dedicated marque historian, whose estate assembled an unusually comprehensive documentary archive including original and continuation UK registration logbooks, photographs, and correspondence.
