Chassis 0613 GT is a 1957 Ferrari 250 GT Boano coupe with an aluminium alloy body, one of an estimated 14 such lightweight examples built. Completed at Maranello in January 1957 and dispatched through Chinetti's New York dealership, it passed through the hands of tobacco magnate George Arents and Le Mans-winning driver Bob Grossman, accumulating competition victories at the 1958 Bahamas Speed Week. Later owned in England — briefly by Jack Bruce of rock band Cream — it was restored by DK Engineering in 1985 before spending years in Japan and subsequently returning to the United States. Ferrari Classiche-certified, it retains its original V-12 engine, gearbox, rear differential, and Boano alloy body.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
