Full bare-metal restoration carried out over roughly three years, encompassing more than 300 hours of body block-sanding, a complete engine rebuild, extensive new chrome work, replacement windshield and side glass, refinished Campagnolo wheels, and a full new cognac leather interior. A five-speed manual gearbox and electric power-assisted steering were installed to improve everyday driving; the original automatic transmission was retained separately. Finished in metallic dark blue with a silver accent bar.
Work was overseen with input from multiple Iso Grifo marque specialists, including Ron Ciardella. Hundreds of invoices and a substantial photographic archive document the project. Air conditioning was also serviced and confirmed operational. Completion date is November 2022.
