A 1957 Chevrolet Corvette 'Fuelie' equipped with the top-specification 283 bhp fuel-injected V-8 and four-speed manual transmission — the first American production car to offer fuel injection. Delivered new through a Chevrolet dealer in Fulton, New York, to a dentist in Webster, New York, who retained it until the 1990s. A subsequent owner commissioned a complete body-off restoration by recognised Corvette specialists in Houston, following which the car earned Bloomington Gold certification, an NCRS Duntov Mark of Excellence, three NCRS Top Flight awards, and an NCRS Performance Verification. Acquired in 2010 for the Andrews Collection.
