Among the rarest of the 1966 Shelby GT350 H 'Rent-A-Racer' variants built for the Hertz Sports Car Club, chassis SFM 6S568 is one of only 85 examples from the initial 150-car delivery batch fitted with a four-speed manual gearbox. Ordered by Hertz in November 1965 and dispatched to a Missouri dealer for preparation, it remained in that state for roughly four decades before moving west and then to Florida. A show-quality restoration overseen by specialist Steve Beck was completed in October 2020, and the car retains what is believed to be its original 289 K-code engine, correct aluminium T-10 gearbox, and nine-inch rear axle.
