    Comprehensive bare-metal restoration: body stripped and refinished in white, interior retrimmed in red leather replacing the original red vinyl, new wiring loom fitted, and a period-correct pea-shooter exhaust system refurbished and reinstalled. Brightwork was re-plated or renewed where required. Original doors, hood, engine cover, lights, bumper guards, and door handles were retained.

    Work carried out by Tom Drummond in Costa Mesa. The engine and gearbox were assessed as appearing original to the car.
