A 1936 Alvis 4.3-Litre drophead coupé wearing four-seat coachwork by the royal warrant-holding London firm Offord & Sons, believed to be the sole survivor among approximately 16 such Offord-bodied examples. The 4.3-Litre was among the fastest unsupercharged road cars of its era, with a genuine 100 mph capability. Chassis 13178 was despatched to Henlys in Manchester in early 1937, stored during the war years, sold at Beaulieu in 1971, and subsequently spent several decades in Canada before returning to the UK, undergoing rebuilds in both countries along the way.
