1968 Chevron B8

Chevron B8 chassis CH-DBE-53 is one of 44 examples completed of the celebrated 1968 FIA Group 4 sports-racing car, noted for its forgiving handling and ability to challenge GT40s at short circuits. The car raced actively in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including as part of the Ben Sherman Originals team in 1969. In 2017 it was comprehensively rebuilt by respected historic racing specialist Martin O'Connell around a new chassis to a high standard, and subsequently competed in Masters Sportscars events. It carries current FIA papers and is presented in its original 1969 livery.
