1979 Porsche 924 Turbo FIA Group 4 Rally Car

A purpose-built 1979 Porsche 924 Turbo constructed as a high-accuracy homage to the original factory rally cars, which are now preserved at the Sinsheim museum. Engine work was carried out by a former Porsche works mechanic who worked on those cars in 1980. The completed car has competed twice in the Monte Carlo Historique alongside Jürgen Barth and Roland Kussmaul, who recreated their original works entries from 1979–1981. It holds a current FIA Historic Technical Passport valid through 2028.
