The Ferrari 330 America 2+2 was a transitional model produced in only 50 examples, bridging the 250 GTE and the later 330 GT. Chassis 5049 was delivered in late 1963 through Luigi Chinetti Motors to casino magnate and renowned collector Bill Harrah, who retained it as a celebrity loaner vehicle. After passing through two further American owners over some four decades, the car underwent a thorough restoration encompassing a full engine rebuild, suspension overhaul, and bare-metal repaint before being shown at Concorso Italiano.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
