Long-term ownership by Californian banker Alfredo Ducato — a close personal correspondent of Enzo Ferrari — kept the car in a single collection until 1987. Subsequently passing through several noted American collectors, the car retains just over 13,400 original miles, holds Ferrari Classiche Red Book certification, and won the Platinum Award at the 2008 Cavallino Classic Concours d'Elegance.
