1957 Ferrari 250 GT Coupé by Boano

0661 GTroadItaly
Engine
3.0L V12, matching-numbers

Chassis 0661 GT is one of just 68 low-roofline Ferrari 250 GT Coupés bodied by carrozzeria Boano between 1956 and 1957. First delivered in Belgium in April 1957, the car passed to racing driver Robert Crevits, who took three consecutive GT class victories in Belgian hillclimbs in 1960. After decades of European and American ownership the car was restored in South Africa and later at Patrick Ottis Company in California. Subsequent Italian and German owners extended its competition record across the Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge and multiple Mille Miglia entries. Its matching-numbers V-12 is confirmed by a Ferrari Classiche Red Book issued in 2004.

Are you the owner of this car?

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
