Porsche RS 60 (chassis 718-060), completed in June 1960, is among the most original and well-documented surviving examples of the final evolution of the factory's Carrera-based racing spyder. Delivered new to Milwaukee Porsche dealer Bob Wuesthoff, it was actively campaigned across the United States from 1960 to 1964, accumulating roughly a dozen class wins and numerous further podium finishes. Retaining its original Wendler aluminum bodywork and numbers-matching four-cam engine, it passed through a succession of respected collectors before undergoing a sympathetic restoration around 1999, and has since appeared at major historic events including the Le Mans Classic and Rennsport Reunion IV.
