Chassis 1583 GT is the 228th of 353 Ferrari 250 GT Series II Pininfarina Coupés built between 1958 and 1960, benefiting from the later four-wheel disc brakes. Delivered new in March 1960 to a Milan textile company, it was subsequently acquired in Switzerland in 1992 and underwent a systematic multi-stage restoration throughout the 1990s covering the interior, seals, engine, and full bare-metal repaint. A matching-numbers car with a Marcel Massini research report, it has covered approximately 8,000 km since its acquisition and restoration.
