The 1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Special Newmarket Permanent Sedan (chassis 289AJS), bodied by Brewster, is widely regarded as the finest closed coachwork fitted to a U.S.-delivery Phantom II. One of only six examples of this design — and uniquely distinguished by extended front fenders — it was delivered to a Minnesota banking figure in March 1933, passed through several notable American owners, and spent four decades with Twin Cities collector Andrew Darling. A comprehensive concours restoration by Vantage Motorworks of Miami debuted with a Best in Class award at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
