The Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America, chassis B24S-1131, is one of 240 examples built between 1954 and 1956 and one of 181 left-hand-drive cars produced. Bodied by Pinin Farina on a shortened Aurelia platform, the model was conceived to appeal to the American market and features the world's first production V-6 engine with a rear-mounted transaxle. This example spent its entire life in the western United States and received a cosmetic and mechanical restoration in 1992, including a desirable Nardi twin-carburetor conversion. It subsequently passed through the Paul and Chris Andrews Collection before entering the Craig McCaw collection.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
