One of the final twenty-seven Porsche Carrera RS 2.7s ever built, this Grand Prix White example left the factory in its last month of production and spent the great majority of its life in Germany. Accompanied by its original Fahrzeugbrief, it received a light restoration around 2004 before passing through the hands of racing driver Frank Kawalek. After arriving in the United Kingdom in 2015, the car underwent an exhaustive, no-expense-spared bare-metal restoration by specialists SportWagen and Jas, consuming an estimated 1,500 man-hours and resulting in coverage in Classic and Sports Car magazine in January 2017.
