Chassis 0913 GT is the 25th of 40 first-series Ferrari 250 GT Pinin Farina cabriolets, completed in Turin in May 1958 and finished in metallic grey over black leather. It served as the pace car at the 1958 Shell Grand Prix at Monza and appeared in that year's Ferrari Yearbook. After a succession of Italian owners through the late 1960s, the car passed through Malta, England, and the United States, where it received a full restoration in the early 1990s and subsequently underwent meticulous preparation by specialists Fossil Motorsports and Grand Touring Classics, compiling an extensive record in vintage rallies and concours events over more than two decades.

Original engine block reinstalled in the car and extensively rebuilt with new pistons, bearings, timing chain, camshafts, crankshaft, factory valves with upgraded guides, Carrillo connecting rods, and rebuilt cylinder heads; original components such as the mouse-type valve-spring arrangement and factory-stamped timing cover were preserved. Total cost exceeded $95,000.
Reunited the original engine block with its matching chassis for the first time since the 1990s.
