The Alfa Romeo 750G Giulietta Spider was a rare, limited-production competition car conceived at the instigation of New York importer Max Hoffman in 1956 to serve the American racing market. Only 24 were built, featuring Conrero-prepared engines, aluminium bodywork, and close-ratio gearboxes. Chassis 00301 passed through a notable American Alfa Romeo collection before being discovered in Rome in 2011 and subsequently receiving a thorough, award-winning restoration by Dutch specialist Strada e Corsa, retaining its original magnesium and sandcast components.
