1970 Morgan Plus 8

A 1970 Morgan Plus 8 featuring the early 'Moss box' gearbox, one of only 484 such cars built between 1968 and 1972. Originally supplied in the UK and later discovered in Norway, the car was repatriated and subjected to a comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration in 2011–12 to FIA Appendix K 'Period G' specification, including a new G.E.E. steel chassis, factory ash frame, and a 254 bhp John Eales race engine. Subsequently campaigned in HSCC and other historic events.

Full nut-and-bolt rebuild on a new race-prepared steel chassis sourced from G.E.E., with a new factory ash frame, a freshly built John Eales race engine producing 254 bhp, and the original Moss gearbox overhauled by Billy Bellinger of J.B. Sports Engineering, who also rebuilt the axle. Final assembly carried out by Brett Syndercombe of Brands Hatch Morgans to FIA Appendix K 'Period G' specification.
