Chassis 08577 is a May 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C built in the most sought-after specification: long-nose Scaglietti coachwork, torque-tube transaxle, and six Weber 40 DCN9 carburettors, finished originally in Amaranto over Beige Connolly leather. Delivered new through Garage Francorchamps to a Belgian owner, it subsequently passed through American and Swiss hands before undergoing a comprehensive bare-metal restoration by Bacchelli & Villa, with mechanical work by Autofficina Sauro. Ferrari Classiche certified the matching-numbers engine and transaxle in 2005, with reinspection in 2024. The car has since won best in class at both the 60th and 70th Ferrari anniversary celebrations and earned a Platinum Award at the Cavallino Classic in Modena.

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
