A 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Berlina, chassis 917011, representing both the first Alfa Romeo model produced after the Second World War and the final Alfa to use a separate chassis. Built at the Portello factory and dispatched late in 1949, it was the eleventh Sport Berlina produced and first registered in Naples in March 1950. The car remained in Naples throughout its early life and has been ASI-homologated since 2003. It appeared in the Italian television film about Pope John XXIII and is documented in the standard reference works on the 6C 2500.
