Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 chassis 11893, built to European left-hand-drive specification and delivered through a Turin dealer in June 1969, is a rare survivor of the model that represented Ferrari's most luxurious and largest production car of its era. With around 800 built between 1967 and 1971, the 4.4-litre V-12 grand tourer pioneered power steering and self-levelling rear suspension for the marque. This example passed through several American owners after export in the early 1970s and received a comprehensive bare-metal restoration in the mid-1990s, reportedly retaining its original matching-numbers drivetrain.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
