Chassis 1047 is a 1969 Maserati Ghibli Spyder, one of only 125 open examples built and among just 83 fitted with the 4.7-litre V-8 and five-speed ZF manual gearbox. Originally delivered in Metallic Copper over Tan leather to Milan, the car was later imported to the United States and entered the collection of Ferrari North America chief Gianluigi Longinotti-Buitoni before passing to Canadian Maserati dealer Remo Ferri, under whose stewardship a comprehensive, no-expense-spared restoration was completed in 2018.
