1939 Alvis Speed 25 Pillarless Two-door Saloon (Vanden Plas coachwork)
- Engine
- Inline six-cylinder, ~106 bhp

A 1939 Alvis Speed 25 Pillarless Two-door Saloon bodied by Vanden Plas to styling attributed to John Bradley, this car is one of only two known survivors among just three Speed 25 chassis believed to have received this particular coachwork. The pillarless saloon construction, featuring no B-pillar, an opening windscreen, and a large sunroof, represents a high point of ash-framed coachbuilding. Dispatched from the factory on 14 June 1939, it remained in English ownership for over three decades before passing to its long-term American custodian. The engine number corresponds with original factory dispatch records, and the car retains a high degree of originality.
