The 279th of 1,492 examples built, this 1969 Porsche 911 S (chassis 119300279) left the Zuffenhausen factory in November 1968 finished in Tangerine over black leather. One of the B-series cars featuring the lengthened wheelbase and 170-horsepower fuel-injected flat-six, it spent its entire life registered in France. Its first owner, a fuel-injection specialist, maintained it personally for roughly three decades; subsequently two further owners cared for it before a comprehensive overhaul by a Porsche specialist. It retains its numbers-matching engine and gearbox.
