1936 Jensen Jensen-Ford V-8 Tourer
- Engine
- 3.6L L-head V8, 85 bhp

A left-hand-drive 1936 Jensen-Ford, one of only three such cars exported to the United States through California industrialist Percy Morgan, this Ford V-8-powered British coachbuilt tourer was originally destined for Theodore B. Wilcox Jr. before passing to Mr. Burlingham of Cincinnati, then Hollywood comedian Mischa Auer. After decades in California ownership, the car underwent an extensive six-year restoration completed in 2013, with numerous unique components fabricated from scratch while the original drivetrain was preserved.

Maintenance & restoration
- 2007Restoration
A comprehensive restoration commenced after six years of parts gathering and remanufacture; numerous components unique to the model — including hood irons, shock absorber parts, the dashboard, and the emergency brake system — were fabricated from new. Inner body woodwork was reconstructed, revealing the asymmetric coachbuilt construction typical of the era.
Work began in earnest in 2007 following years of preparation by Art Knapp; the project involved thousands of man-hours.
- 2013Engine rebuild
The original drivetrain, found to be intact, was overhauled and returned to its mid-1930s specification as part of the broader restoration completed this year.
Restoration project concluded in 2013; the drivetrain's survival in original form was considered a significant asset.
