1969 Lamborghini Islero GTS

6625roadItaly
Engine
3.9L V12 quad-cam, six Weber carburetors, 350 bhp
Colour
Dark bronze ('Bronzo Scuro') over mustard yellow ('Senape')

The Lamborghini Islero GTS is one of only 100 examples of the uprated variant produced before the model's discontinuation in 1969, distinguishing itself from the standard Islero by its bonnet scoop, flared arches, and a 350 bhp version of the quad-cam Bizzarrini V-12. Originally delivered through Lamborcar Milano in Italy in a rare Bronzo Scuro over Senape colour combination, the car later spent time in California before returning to Europe in 2015. Between 2015 and 2018 it underwent a thorough ground-up restoration by Italian marque specialists covering bodywork, chassis, engine, and interior.

Are you the owner of this car?

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
