A 1953 Ferrari 212 Inter with coachwork by Vignale of Turin, chassis 0285 EU is the 23rd of 26 such Vignale-bodied Inters produced. Delivered new through Luigi Chinetti's New York distributorship to Pennsylvania State Senator Theodore Newell Wood — a motorsport figure who founded the Brynfan Tyddyn Road Races — the car subsequently passed through a succession of American and European collectors.
