Chassis 2931 is the 145th of 200 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II examples built, completed at Pininfarina's Grugliasco works in mid-1961 and delivered in Italy that November. Featuring a Testa Rossa-derived outside-plug engine and four-wheel disc brakes, the model represented the most capable 250 GT road car of its era. This example passed through several American owners after Luigi Chinetti imported it to the United States, was later acquired by Ascari founder Klaas Zwart, and was certified by Ferrari Classiche in 2013. It retains its matching-numbers drivetrain.
