Chassis 11583 is a July 1968 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2, one of approximately 800 built during the model's three-year production run. Introduced at the 1967 Paris Salon, the 365 GT 2+2 was the most luxurious Ferrari of its era, featuring Pininfarina coachwork, a 4.4-litre V-12, and pioneering standard equipment including power steering, self-levelling rear suspension, and air conditioning. This example passed through a well-documented chain of British owners, later appearing at the 2007 Goodwood Club Meeting and Ferrari's 60th Anniversary celebration.
