1959 Aston Martin DB4 Series I

A rare left-hand-drive Series I Aston Martin DB4, one of just 73 such export-specification cars built between late 1958 and early 1960. Delivered new in San Francisco in November 1959 in a Peony-over-black-leather specification with chrome wire wheels, the car subsequently passed through several California-based owners, saw club-level competition at Laguna Seca in the 1970s, and reportedly took Best in Show at an Aston Martin Owners Club concours in the 1990s. It retains its matching-numbers engine and is accompanied by factory build sheet copies.
