First delivered to a Brussels buyer, the car remained in Belgian ownership for roughly five decades before passing to a collector whose family circle included the noted endurance racing driver known as Beurlys and, by marriage, six-time Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx. A full bare-metal respray and body restoration were subsequently carried out in Portugal, with further mechanical recommissioning completed in 2018.
