A 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Sports Saloon, chassis DB6/3093/R, delivered new to a Mr Kearsley of Wellingborough with Borg-Warner automatic transmission and various factory options. The car subsequently passed to long-term AMOC member John Fritchley of Nottinghamshire before undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment by Alan Smith Motors between 2008 and 2009, at a cost of approximately £28,000. Works included bodywork repairs, full rust-proofing, fitting a Harvey Bailey handling kit, and conversion to a ZF five-speed manual gearbox. The car has since been in overseas storage and may require recommissioning.
