A rare 1935 Cadillac V-16 Imperial convertible sedan, one of only six bodied in this configuration on a total production run of fifty V-16 chassis that year. Delivered new through the Hoosier Cadillac Company of Indianapolis, the car passed through several notable hands before a comprehensive restoration by acclaimed restorer Steve Babinsky earned it a First in Class award at the 1991 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It subsequently accumulated AACA Grand National honors before entering prominent collections.

Full restoration carried out by Steve Babinsky to concours standard, including rebuilding the running boards, replacing wooden body framing where needed, repainting in factory-correct Diana Cream, and retrimming the interior in specially sourced brown leather and matching carpeting. The authentic Master radio listed on the build sheet was retained in the instrument panel.
Commissioned by Dr. Barbara Atwood with the explicit aim of competing at Pebble Beach; completed in time for the 1991 concours.

The non-matching engine previously fitted (no. 5100043) was replaced with a rebuilt unit using a correct V-16 block, new connecting rods, pistons, and insert bearings; the crankcase cover from the earlier motor was retained. The original block and associated components were preserved and accompany the car.
Carried out after the 1991 restoration; documentation in the form of invoices is included with the car.
