A 1933/34 Packard Series 1108 Eleventh Series Twelve Individual Custom Stationary Coupe bodied by Raymond Dietrich, one of only five known survivors of this style, and the sole example not presently confined to a private museum. Delivered new in November 1933 to Mrs. A.J. Eken of New Jersey — likely wife of Empire State Building contractor Andrew Jackson Eken — the car passed through several distinguished Packard collectors before undergoing a meticulous restoration that culminated in a First in Class and the Most Elegant Closed Car award at the 2005 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Maintenance & restoration

  1. Restoration

Long-term partial restoration work carried out by Charles Earle Theall personally over more than four decades in a specially constructed, sealed garage.

Work was ongoing at the time of his death and was not completed during his ownership.

  2. Restoration
    Stone Barn Restorations

Full professional restoration undertaken by Stone Barn Restorations; commenced for one owner and completed for another. Extended storage had kept the body in good condition, allowing panels and paint to be fitted with minimal repair work. Correct two-tone mint green livery was researched from the original Individual Custom sales manual, original upholstery samples confirmed materials and weave, and period photographs guided the color choices.

Workshop located in Alpha, New Jersey. The completed result was judged to the highest standard at Pebble Beach in 2005.

Are you the owner of this car?

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
